FUJI

Fuji is an incense holder consisting of a solid concrete base and an independent brass plate, created in collaboration with and for José Bermúdez' Studio.

Incense is hold upright to create a complete reference to volcanoes as it burns.

Fuji, means wealth or abundant, and is the highest volcano in Japan. Mount Fuji is located about 100 kilometers south of Tokyo, and can be seen from there on a clear day.
